Why Use NUITF?

Here’s a video about some of the reasons why utilities across the United States are using curriculum and training resources from the National Utility Industry Training Fund.

Up to Date Training

The National Utility Industry Training Fund incorporates all of the latest NESC and NEC code updates.  This enables training locations to focus on the content and know that what is being delivered is compliant with the industry.

Partnership with

electrical training ALLIANCE (etA)

Here at the NUITF, we understand that utilities generally have their own dedicated in-house training staff, and therefore do not “usually” provide instructors.  However, due to our partnership with the electrical training ALLIANCE (etA), the utility’s instructors are not only welcome, but encouraged, to attend the National Training Institute, commonly referred to as “NTI”.  This is an annual training that goes on in Ann Arbor, MI and brings together around 2,000 instructors and training directors from across the United States to bring them up to date on the latest changes in the curriculum and allows for collaboration and networking between instructors on challenges and solutions they have encountered in the classroom or training yard.

Additionally, attendees can participate in their four-year training courses to become a certified instructor. Please click here to learn more about NTI and feel free to reach out to us at any time for more information!

Partnership with

Crane Training & Certification

The NUITF partners with the electrical training ALLIANCE (etA) and the Electrical Industry Certifications Association (EICA) to certify crane operators in accordance with federal requirements. We have chosen to partner with EICA due to their program being more specifically tailored for the energy industry and utility equipment. For more information.

Simulator Training
